This week, we’ve been spotlighting one of our favourite activities from the Free Phonics Pack: the Sound Hunt. It’s simple, screen-free, and perfect for nature walks. Children choose a sound like /l/ for “leaf” and search for objects that begin with that sound. It’s a playful way to build phonemic awareness, helping children tune into the sounds that make up words.
